Graduate Research Assistant

I'm a new graduate student as of January 2008. I will be investigating the impact of VCD on male rats in determining if fertility is diminished. This area is a new frontier as there is very little published science on this topic in comparison to VCD female treatment in rats. I'm excited to work on this project as it will enable my team to get ContraPest in rice fields sooner than later leading to greater rice crop yields to feed many more people around the globe.

While I'm not studying I like to enjoy the great outdoors whether it be hiking Arizona's highest peak or running to prepare for my next marathon. The picture of me shows me arriving back at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon after hiking the full distance to the North Rim, making the trip a grueling 50 miles.
